CLTs and Climate Action: A Global Dialogue for World CLT Day 2025

How are Community Land Trusts addressing the climate crisis? Hosted by the International Center for Community Land Trusts and the World CLT Day 2025 Planning Committee, this 75-minute dialogue will explore how CLTs are tackling climate challenges—from energy upgrades and flood protection to food justice and beyond.
Through two small-group participatory breakout sessions and open discussion, participants will:
- Share strategies and connect with fellow CLT practitioners
- Explore local and transferable resilience solutions
- Identify opportunities for cross-CLT collaboration
No expertise required—just your experience, curiosity, or work with CLTs or community-led development on community-owned land. This event is open to everyone including CLT staff, organizers, residents, researchers, technical allies, and anyone interested in climate and community ownership. Space is limited to 100 participants—register early!
