Join the Global Celebration: World CLT Day – May 16

Celebrate community land trusts worldwide by participating in events, sharing stories, and connecting with peers. This event is a chance to spotlight our diverse CLT community, showcase your impactful projects to peers worldwide, and celebrate affordable housing, land justice, and community empowerment. We’re excited to see and hear—in your language—from you and your CLT communities.

How to Participate

  1. Download the poster via the toolkit.
  2. Share a photo, video, message, or community spotlight featuring the poster and using #WorldCLTDay2025 to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and/or Bluesky.
  3. Share widely on your social networks!

In addition to celebrating with us on social media, there are a multitude of ways you can honor World CLT Day. Upcoming Events for World CLT Day

In the lead-up to May 16, we want to spotlight as many CLT-related activities around the world as possible to show the strength of our solidarity, the diversity of our movement, and the deep roots CLTs have in local organizing. Whether it’s a panel, a picnic, a site visit, or neighborhood gathering, your event helps paint the full picture of what CLTs are achieving globally.
